How to get to Aix-en-Provence?
- By plane:
· the airport of Marseille (Marseille-Provence) is located in Marignane.
There is a shuttle from the airport to the centre of Aix-en-Provence, every
30 mns. The journey takes 35 mns and costs 7.3 euros.
- By railway:
· If your arrival station is the TGV station of Aix-en-Provence, the
shuttle from Marseille-Provence airport to the centre of Aix-en-Provence stops
at the TGV station. There is a departure every 30 mns. The journey takes 20
mns and it costs 3.6 euros.
· If your arrival station is Marseille St Charles, there is a bus station just across the street on the right. There are buses to Aix-en-Provence, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., every 10 mns. The journey takes 30 mns and it costs 4.1 euros.
How to get to the Institut Universitaire de Technologie?
From the centre of Aix-en-Provence, the bus line serving the institute is N. 6 (bus stops are: Fenouillères or Coton rouge). Tickets can be bought by units directly on the bus (around 1.1 euro) or by ten (at the newstand, place Rotonde, around 7.3 euros).
It takes about 20 mns walking from the town centre to the institute.
