Reception on Monday, 4 September 2006 (exact time to be announced):
Location: Wawel Hill
The time between the conference sessions and the reception may be used to explore the renaissance Royal Castle at Wawel. Worth visiting in the castle grounds are the Wawel Cathedral, the Royal Tombs - crypts containing royal sarcophagi, and the massive "Sigismund" Bell.
The most beautiful way to access Wawel Hill is Kanonicza Street which is short and fairly narrow. Yet it is one of the most important and ancient streets of the city; a street whose look has hardly changed over the centuries - authentic and very much alive.
Conference Dinner on Wednesday, 6 September 2006 (exact time to be announced):
Location: Tomaszowice Manor
The historical 19th century manor and park complex in Tomaszovice near Krakow was brought back to its splendour and reopened in September 2000.
Bus transport to Tomaszovice will be provided.
