Welcome Reception
Monday, 22 August 2022, 18:30 – 21:00 at Festsaal 1 room, LC building, WU Campus

Just after the last session of the first day, Monday, 22 August 2022, all DEXA 2022 participants are invited to a welcome reception at Festsaal 1 room in the LC building (https://campus.wu.ac.at/de/?campus=1&q=LC.0.100%20Festsaal%201#map).
DEXA’s yearly awards: Norman Revell Best Paper Award and Roland Wagner Best Paper Award will be presented to the winner during this event. Presentation & performance from WU Jazz Faculty will impress all participants while enjoying the rest of the evening. 
Drinks and snacks will be served from 18:30 to 21:00.

Conference Dinner
Tuesday, 23 August 2022, 18:00-21:00 at the “Schweizerhaus” Wien

On the second day DEXA 2022 invited all participants to a special Conference Dinner at the “Schweizerhaus” a legend Restaurant located in the popular place in Vienna, the Prater. The restaurant was built in 1868 with the name “Schweizer Meierei” (Swiss Diary) and later become “Schweizerhaus” until present. 
Guests of this award-winning gastronomy house will experience extraordinary hospitality and their original Budweiser Budvar.

The place is a walking distance from WU Campus. Head southwest toward Welthandelsplatz, onto Freudplatz and turn left onto Straße des Ersten Mai and walk until reach the restaurant.
Other ways to reach the place:
• By car/taxi: coming from Ausstellungsstraße, turn into Perspektivstraße, onto the Freudplatz (Sigmund Freud Campus), here you can park your car in a metered-parking space or parking garage around the area and continue by foot along Straße des ersten Mai until you reach the restaurant.
• By public transport: Take the U2 line to the "Prater-Messe" station. Walk along Messestraße and Straße des ersten Mai for about 10 minutes until you reach the place.
